The Blackthorn Skittle Championship took place Saturday 1st October @ The Riviera Centre 'Torquay',
It was an 'weston super nightmare' for all five 'mens, ladies & mixed' weston teams in the main event, all going out in the first round, All teams were entered into the 'plate' cup, which the mens team from the Lamb Inn, worle, 'The Lamb Shankers' (AKA Alleycats) went on to win, they had six very exciting matches on the way battling from being pins down going into the last hand only to come out on top with some excellent skittling by the whole team.
